Our Founder
My name is Erin Currin. I am an Entrepreneur.
For most of my professional life, I have worked in corporate Accounting in some way or another.
I like to think I chose accounting because I’m good at it. The truth is I did it because it was the safe thing to do.
But I was miserable.
It Was Easy…
When I was young, I was an A student. I could do anything I put my mind to.
I was also lazy. When I encountered resistance, I didn’t fight it. I just gave up.
So tap dancing, gymnastics, and riding lessons all came and went. I quit each in very short order. Once it got hard, I was OUT!
Even in college, I took the easy road. I decided Engineering would take too much time and Computer Programming was too confusing.
Accounting was the ticket for me. Since I’m AWESOME in math, it came easy. Seemed like a perfect fit.
Then, I quit college.
I Was Lost…
I wandered aimlessly for a few years taking jobs as office clerks and restaurant hostesses.
After awhile, I fell into a job in accounting and I finally went back to school and earned my Accounting degree.
I was really good at Accounting. All my bosses were thrilled with my performance, but I couldn’t seem to find a job that satisfied me.
I felt out of place… Broken, almost.
Eventually, I decided to go back to school AGAIN thinking that all this education would fix me somehow.
Is That Possible?
Then I met my husband, Marcelo. He had been his own boss his whole life and had traveled the world.
He did what he loved and made his own schedule…
I was so excited by the idea of being my own boss that I started dreaming!
Four years later, I decided to take the plunge! I left a great job with security and great pay and jumped headfirst into my new business!
Keep On Believing
All the gurus said it was simple. And my projections told me I’d be making money in no time!
But I hit a wall.
My first product, “The Inflammatory Truth,” was an ebook about natural wellness. It was solid. But, as I began promoting it, a few people asked me about my “qualifications.”
I freaked out! I began to doubt myself, even though my research and findings were sound.
It didn’t end there. After two years of developing several great ideas into potentially powerful programs and getting nowhere, I started to see a pattern.
People responded to my passion and conviction – to my MESSAGE. When I was solid about who I was and what I offered, they flocked.
But I wasn’t asking them to buy… I was waiting for them to ask ME!
Growth Beyond Learning
In my corporate experience, the boss was usually looking for something specific. He asked the questions, and I answered them.
Now, I was searching for the magic plan – for a one size fits all solution.
What I didn’t know is that I needed to make the leap from a corporate approach to the mindset of an entrepreneur.
Out here, I got to make the rules. I had to ask questions of my own. And my mind wasn’t wired that way… Yet.
Then I recognized the power of combining both Business and Personal development ideas into one solution.
After investing years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in education, personal and business development, and experience from on the job training as well as the trials I experiences building my dreams, I have learned a thing or two about business and the process of becoming an entrepreneur.
Now, I’ve taken all of that knowledge and experience and developed solutions to save you years of pain and struggle.
